You would come to weddings with your Mentor to learn on the job and build a portfolio.

“Thank you for the invaluable teaching, all the amazing opportunities, guidance, laughs, weddings, memories and for becoming a great friend. I wouldn’t have progressed to where I am today without your help.”
Tom Cawdron (TWIA SE Highly Commended 2025)
Over the last few years, several of our mentored Photographers have gone onto have successful careers with full diaries of weddings in the UK and overseas. Tom Cawdron was mentored in 2022, went full time in 2023 then won Highly Commended in The Wedding Industry Awards in 2025!
"The decision to jump feet first into wedding photography this year has been the best thing I could have done! It's only been possible with your guidance, teaching, friendship, support and general encouragement . It’s like having a little singing ginger cheerleader sitting on your shoulder the whole time! Your vast knowledge, experience and INSANE talent that you've shared has been like little golden nuggets of wisdom and I have learnt sooo much. I cannot thank you enough Olly for your constant faith and encouragement to be completely myself! What a year!"

“I did a 1:1 day with Olly and cannot recommend him highly enough. His approach is very laid back and personable and despite building a very successful and reputable business, he still carves out time to invest in newbies like me, which I think says everything you need to know about his values and just what an all round good egg he is. The day was so helpful and we covered many different areas. His input and advice was so valuable and went home absolutely buzzing after. I have gone home with a list of things to action and think about and I’m really excited to see where this leads in the next chapter. If you’re ever thinking of perhaps having some input into your photography and the business side of it, make sure you book in some time with Olly - he’s absolutely golden!” Tim Hampshire Photography
Classes are regularly held in Canterbury or online on weekdays.
street photography days in London/ brighton
Summer 2026 date in Brighton coming soon
Street Photography has had a massive impact on the way I photograph day to day and at weddings. Capturing real life on the streets of a City is a really fascinating thing to do. Join me (Olly Knight) for a day in focussed on street photography.
-
We'll start off at 10am in a coffee shop, get to know one another and then I'll talk on how to shoot street. We'll explore topics like colour, layering and light. We'll hit the streets together and I’ll guide us through how I photograph different scenes. After lunch there will be some time to practice the skills we've learnt. I’ll be on hand throughout to give feedback and tips. We’ll aim to finish the day by 4pm.
The cost of the day is £195. You'd need your own camera and you'll also need to cover the cost of your own travel, drinks and lunch. I'm limiting the group size to 8 people so book in soon!

Join me, Olly Knight, at my home in Canterbury for a one day editing course (coming in 2026)
We’ll firstly take a look at some different editing styles out there. Then I’ll teach about how I edit my images in Lightroom. I’ll share some shortcuts I use and show you a live edit with some of my images and I’ll then use some of your images too.
Hopefully by the end of the day you’ll feel more confident with your editing skills, how to make your images look consistent with one another and how to handle exposure and white balance better. The day costs £250 and I’ll provide us with some lunch too.
