This Lightroom preset pack has been designed by Olly Knight and Amy from Northern Presets. Olly works as a documentary wedding photographer across the UK & Europe and won UK Wedding Photographer of the Year 2026. Amy is a professional preset designer and has worked for some of the biggest names in the world of Photography.
These presets are bold, rich and more punchy than the average professional boxer(!) When you load these into Lightroom you’ll see warmth, flattering skin tones and a filmic like quality and texture. These presets have been tested on all major camera files- Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fuji etc.

0 - MAIN GRADE This is the main preset in the pack. Main grade is bold, punchy, has flattering warmth and beautiful skin tones.
1 - AUTOSTRAIGHTEN This will try and correct the image and straighten it (because we all shoot wonky images sometimes eh!?)
2 - HARD LIGHT There’s often times when the sun is so intense and you’re battling with bright light & shade so this preset pulls the highlights down and brings up the shadows to flatten the effect of the hard light.
3 - INDOORS The contrast is reduced slightly, highlights aren’t pulled down as much as in the main grade and warmth is scaled back slightly to give a cleaner look for indoor pictures.
4 - GOLDEN This preset is like main grade but with a bit more warmth added in. It would normally be used during the golden hour particularly when the sun is in the background.
5 - NIGHT AMBIENT This is when you’re shooting evening/ night time photos and you want to smoothen the image whilst still retaining the detail and pop of the image.
6 - B&W This black and white preset has plenty of contrast and punch with deep shadows and bright whites. It’s consistent with the colour presets in this pack.
7 - B&W AMBIENT Use this black and white preset when an image has been shot with a higher ISO or at night time. It has built in noise reduction to combat grain.
NO AI You’ll notice that there’s no AI tools or masks in this preset pack. It’s a conscious decision. I love the process of editing each of my images and not relying on algorithms to do it for me. I also appreciate the impact that AI is having on the planet and it’s using so much carbon and storage space. This preset pack used on it’s own is proudly AI free.
